Robert Sentman, president of a national CIO technician's union, is chased by William Commett and Mr. Jones (African American man at left) during the Battle of the Overpass. After this image was taken Mr. Sentman was thrown to the ground, kicked repeatedly in the face and dragged down the railway tracks by his assailants.
